Since earning my license in 2012, I’ve worked full-time in Boulder, building my business almost entirely through referrals—fueled by meaningful conversations, lasting relationships, and a commitment to sharing the knowledge and resources I’ve gathered over 13 years in the industry.

I truly love what I do, and I’m continually inspired by the incredible people I get to meet along the way.

I began my career at RE/MAX of Boulder Inc., where I spent five years learning the foundations of real estate. From there, I joined Spaces Real Estate, a boutique brokerage, for another five years before spending three years at Compass – Boulder, one of the nation’s most recognized firms.

In 2024, I took the leap to create my own independent brokerage, J. David Real Estate—a move that has allowed me to serve my clients on a deeper level and put their needs first, always.

Boulder has been home since 2004, when I moved here to attend CU. I graduated in 2008 with a degree in Advertising and a Technology, Arts & Media Certificate, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Creative Technology & Design at CU. I believe in continually growing so I can bring fresh ideas and innovative strategies to my work.

My biggest motivation, however, is my family—my amazing wife and our three wonderful children (ages six, four, and one). They are my “why” and the heart behind everything I do. Outside of real estate, I’m also a mandolin player in the local band Bear Hat and run a children’s music program for toddlers called Bear Cub Brigade.
